Poster Mounting

The poster area will be located in Foyer ZLF Ground Floor at the University of Basel.

Each poster will be placed on one side of the board and will be given its unique number. Please make sure to mount your poster on the poster board with the number corresponding to the number assigned to your poster (will be sent via e-mail).

The organisers will provide appropriate fixing material for mounting the posters. However, if the poster is made of a different material than paper (e.g. cloth), the organisers cannot guarantee that it will remain securely mounted.

Poster Mounting & Removing

The posters have been divided into two groups: Posters I. and Posters II. Your poster will be visible for one day only.

POSTERS I.

Posters in this group will be displayed on Thursday, 11 September 2025.

The poster area will be open for poster mounting from 07:30.
Poster session (Lunch & Posters I.): 12:45 – 14:00. Presenting authors are encouraged to stand by their posters and be available to answer any questions from delegates.

Tips for preparing a poster:

  • Content: English is the official language of the event. The presenting authors are entirely responsible for the poster content. Use a short descriptive title, full names of contributing authors, and their affiliations.
  • Make your message clear: Highlight your AIM and CONCLUSION using bold and coloured fonts.
  • Be brief: Use bullet points and only the most relevant text. 200-300 words are more than enough for the main text.
  • Pictures and graphics: Particular attention should be paid to the resolution of pictures. As a rule of thumb, use at least 300 dpi resolution. Make use of colour and graphics. At least 3 pictures or figures are recommended to graphically show your study results.
  • Prepare a pitch: Be ready to explain the main message of your work in one minute, making use of the pictures and figures.
