Building Patients Specific Musculoskeletal Models with OpenSim Creator

Musculoskeletal modelling can be essential when analyzing movement, but creating suitable models is challenging, especially when those models need to account for subject-specific morphologies. In this workshop, we will go through the process of building and warping OpenSim models using OpenSim Creator. Our aim is to teach key OpenSim modelling concepts, how models can be built/modified, and workflows for handling non-linear, subject-specific, model warping – with some tips and tricks along the way!

The workshop content is organized by Ajay Seth and Adam Kewley. Ajay is an associate professor at TU Delft and leads the Computational Biomechanics Lab. Previously, he was the architect behind the OpenSim API at Stanford University. Adam Kewley is a research software engineer at TU Delft and built OpenSim Creator. Depending on registration numbers, additional researchers with experience in OpenSim and OpenSim Creator will also be available to help during the workshop, so this is an excellent opportunity to ask questions and get ideas about musculoskeletal modelling
