Thank you for your registration to the ESMAC Annual Meeting to be held from 8 –13 September 2025 in Basel, Switzerland. Before your arrival in Basel let us provide you with the below practical information:

Arrival from the Airport
Details on Travelling to Basel can be found here.
From EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg – shuttle bus to the city center every 7 minutes; 15-minute ride.
From Zurich Airport – direct train connecting to Basel, approx. 75 minutes travel time.
Travelling in Basel
Free public transport with the BaselCard is included with every hotel stay in Basel.

Please make sure to present the Registration QR Code at the onsite desk to ease the registration process. Any open balance can be paid by Credit / Debit cards (Visa, MasterCard). Cash will be not accepted.
Scientific Programme
Please visit the ESMAC 2025 website for the Gait Course Programme, pre-conference Seminars, MM Workshop, Programme at a Glance and Interactive Programme.
Abstracts will be available online in the Gait & Posture and linked from the ESMAC 2025 website before the event.
Oral Presentations
The recommended option is to UPLOAD your presentation in advance via the online platform; your uploaded presentation will be prepared in your lecture room on-site.
Upload Deadline: 9 September 2025
OR
Hand over your presentation at the Presentation Upload Desk onsite on a USB stick as soon as possible after your arrival, but not later than 30 minutes BEFORE the start of your session. Presentations for the early morning sessions on 11 September should be uploaded online.
Please note that it is not possible to present from your laptop in the lecture room.

Posters
The Poster area is in the Foyer ZLF Ground Floor of the University of Basel.
Posters are divided into two groups, each displayed on one day only and presented by their authors on Thursday, 11 September, 12:45 – 14:00 and on Friday, 12 September, 12:45 – 14:00. Please refer to the Poster Guidelines for details.
Certificates
Certificate of Attendance will be available for download in the online Registration portal within one week after the event.

Early Career Network Wednesday, 10 September at 20:00, UKBB (University Childrens´ Hospital Basel) (for pre-registered delegates)

ESMAC Networking Event Friday, 12 September at 19:00, Paulus Kulturkirche
Please use public transport; the BaselCard provides free travel.
Exhibition
Visit the ESMAC 2025 Exhibition in the Zentrum für Lehre & Forschung (ZLF) of the University of Basel (USB).
The Exhibition area is also a Coffee break & Lunch area during the Main Conference:
